DAY FOUR of the great

DAY FOUR of the great Vicar West Coast trip (already looking like the first of many). I flew into LA last Friday, and on Saturday morning I was out at 8am jogging along Victoria Rd, round the corner to Wellington Rd, quick turn into Buckingham Rd (notice the British trend here). But just in case I got above myself, it was all bounded by Washington Blvd and right in the middle was Lafayette Square - both responsible for that minor skirmish when they threw us out. The sun was shining, a clear blue sky with a balmy temperature in the mid 70s. Oh, how I miss Broadchalke.

The schedule for the various engagements is developing and changing daily. Having approached various Universities before starting, last minute requests keep flying in - including one from Cincinnati, which means that an East Coast tour beckons in the fall (oh yes, I’m nearly bilingual you know) and perhaps another on the West Coast. We are building the bridge while crossing it.

Currently in an idyllic spot in Cambria right on the Pacific Ocean (vaguely reminiscent of the artistic communities in Cornwall), before moving on to the delights of San Francisco tomorrow. A wave to everyone from across the pond. Anyone wanting to meet in San Francisco should email [email protected] as the venue is still being finalised, but the other dates are now :
